Agile skills development in an uncomplicated learning environment
Skilled staff are an important success factor for business. Skills development is therefore a key process behind success. A seamless learning environment allows for timely and agile skills development.
A flexible and needs-driven process of competence development works effectively through a learning environment. Timely acquisition of skills, quality content, different learning methods and opportunities are needed. Three key themes emerge from this framework:
- Ensure competence: the right skills at the right time
- Own and partner content to ensure competence
- Seamless processes for a competent organisation
Effective staff development starts with the organisation’s strategy. An analysis of the current situation supports the development of a learning and competence pathway that can take into account the needs of different learners and continuous learning. It is not always necessary for an organisation to be able to do everything itself, and it may be useful to draw on the expertise of partners at certain points.
